Makes 1 serving:

 

1 head romaine lettuce or celery

5-6 stalks Kale (any type)

1-2 apples for sweetness

1 whole Organic Lemon (no need to peel)

1-2 inches fresh ginger (optional)

 

You may use ANY greens in place of above—like chard, collards, spinach, cucumber, etc., as long as there are dark leafy greens in there.

 

For best results drink on an empty stomach…in the morning, or 3 hrs after lunch…or 30 minutes before dinner.

 

Personally I found a whole lemon too tart for me even when I added Stevia, so I use 1/2 or 1/4 depending on how much veggies I’m using. I use the Lacinato Kale, sometimes called Elephant Kale, because I prefer the flavor.

This is a great way to get your green vegetables into your diet while enjoying a refreshing drink at the same time.
