“My home is in heaven. I’m just traveling through this world.”

Billy Graham

You can greet others with Anjali Mudra or hold your hands together in this way to demonstrate how much you honor and respect them.

This mudra connects you to the divine energy within yourself and empowers you to recognize the same divinity in others.

How to perform this mudra:

  1. Bring your palms together at your heart.
  2. As you bring your palms together silently honor the divine within you honoring the divine within others. This is the meeting of the salutation “Namaste.”

You can also hold Anjali as you pray.

As you are holding Anjali Mudra, you may want to repeat these affirmations:

I HONOR THE DIVINE WITHIN ME.

I HONOR THE DIVINITY OF OTHERS.

THE DIVINE WITHIN ME HONORS THE DIVINE WITHIN YOU.

I ALLOW DIVINE ENERGY TO FLOW THROUGH ME FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL LIVING BEINGS.

I ALIGN MY WILL WITH GOD’S WILL.

I AM ONE WITH THE BLESSINGS OF THE UNIVERSE.

I EXPERIENCE MY DIVINITY EXPRESSING ITSELF THROUGH MY HUMANITY.

I ALLOW DIVINE GRACE TO FLOW THROUGH ME AND TO ME.

I AM HUMBLE BEFORE THE BEAUTY AND WONDER OF THE UNIVERSE.

I AT ONE WITH ALL THAT IS.

Want to learn more about how you can use breathwork, mudras and affirmations?

Read my ninth book, The Little Book of Breathwork.

This book explains how you can use simple breathing exercises, positive thoughts and hand modes to clear stress and raise your consciousness for free anytime, anywhere!

“Some people think breathing is done with your lungs,” says Darin McBratney, owner of the Costa Rica Yoga Spa. “Catherine makes it very clear that your breath comes from your entire being. If you inhale the knowledge of this book you will exhale with much more consciousness.

“This book is not breathtaking, it is breathgiving!”
